Designed to provide critical, up-to-date information on every part of the print production process, Taskero Universe monitors hardware from the prepress stage through to the pressroom and offers a method for monitoring, controlling, and maintaining consistent quality throughout all phases of the printing plant. The diagnostic software alerts you to what is happening now, what happened previously, and what will happen next. From red light/green light functionality to trend analysis, Taskero Universe brings visibility and control to your business.
Taskero Universe consists of three components – ColorPath Verified, Server Performance Management and Hardware Performance Management – and delivers real time information about the status of your print performance and alerts you to scheduled routine maintenance. Additionally, Fujifilm’s Print Performance Team is able to continuously monitor your devices over the Internet and alert you the moment something appears to be abnormal. Taskero Universe will also monitor your prepress network for efficiency and report its status.
With Taskero Universe, you gain real time reports on your prepress equipment activity, proofing and plate quality, and color control throughout your entire plant.
Taskero Universe Features:
• Prevent proof-press color mismatch: Taskero Universe includes verification of every proof and every plate, alerting you to a potential mismatch as early as possible and allowing you to remedy the problem before wasting press time.
• Ensure true/correct color on reruns: Taskero Universe records each job’s history, allowing you to reference the original job and eliminating the guesswork over the density and dot gain targets.
• Eliminate variables associated with paper selection: Taskero Universe tracks the print performance characteristics of your pressroom, including those of different paper types, providing you with valuable information when planning future jobs.
• Notify tech support immediately: Taskero Universe captures the signals sent by your hard drive when a failure occurs and will automatically and immediately notify the appropriate personnel.
COLORPATH VERIFIED
Taskero Universe’s ColorPath Verified component enables users to communicate, control and confirm color across a number of devices, including monitors, inkjet and digital halftone proofers, CTP devices and printing presses. Users are asked to verify color on every output by reading and validating a printed calibration strip, providing immediate feedback on the status of the device and its conformance with an established target.
Taskero Universe alerts users of errors and future versions of the software will automatically connect them via the Internet to a “smart” database for troubleshooting and support. Users may also seek assistance in a live chat window, manned by Fujifilm color technicians, or initiate an on-site service call.
Server and Hardware Performance Monitoring
In addition, Taskero Universe monitors both your hardware and your environment and will give users early notification of possible plating problems, enabling them to take action before the problem unexpectedly stops production. The goal is to streamline the production process from the server room all the way to the pressroom.
