Javelin 8800E/S/Z

The Javelin 8800E/S/Z thermal platesetter series is the flagship of Fujifilm’s 8-up CTP devices.
It supports a wide range of plates formats and types, from 4-page plates up to 8-page plate
sizes.

The Javelin 8800 features a next-generation Grating Light Valve™ (GLV) thermal imaging
technology with a 512-channel exposure head. Aimed at companies requiring high throughput at superior levels of image quality and consistency, the Javelin 8800Z can image at an impressive rate of 42 plates per hour.

For companies that require a lower price point, the Javelin 8800E images at 24 plates per hour
or the Javelin 8800S images at 32 plate per hour. To ensure that a Javelin 8800 investment is
protected for years of production, both the E and S models can be upgraded in the field to 32 and
42 plates per hour, respectively.

Saber V8 Series

You might not need the high level throughput capability of a dual-laser Saber to start with, but
the good news is you can still buy into the Fujifilm Saber violet performance, reliability, and
quality now with a single-laser version.

In single-laser mode, Saber platesetters offer a competitive 19 8-page plates per hour at 2400
dpi, ideal for those converting from film-based production or starting up with CTP.

When you need more throughput, instead of repeating the entire platesetter research, testing,
purchase, and installation process, you just add a second laser to nearly double productivity – up to 32 8-page plates per hour at 2400 dpi. Start it back up and everything remains the same –
except, of course, for the additional throughput.

Saber V8 HS

Combining a newly designed mirror spinning at 60,000 rpm with dual laser optics, the fully
automatic Fujifilm Saber V-8 HS can output 50 8-up plates per hour a 2400 dpi and 70 plates per
hour at 1200 dpi, making it the fastest 8-up commercial engine on the market today. At 2400 dpi,
the Saber V-8 HS can produce a four-color 8-up set in just 4 1/2 minutes. With higher productivity
and a lower price than its competitors, the Saber V-8 HS is a compelling reason to choose
violet.
